I meant to write this journal earlier this week, but never got around to it. So here it is, at the last possible minute:

For those of you living in sunny South Florida, there's a gallery (The Bear and Bird Boutique + Gallery, to be exact) in a comic book store called Tate's Comics, and a Halloween art show that I'm going to be in is opening tonight at seven. Oh, and it's completely free.

There are going to be a bunch of fantastic local artists there, such as a few of my favorites, Danny Brito, Rosanna Pereyra, Helena Garcia, plus some guys named Mr. and Mrs. Brutal, which is pretty damn great. If you plan on going, I'll be the girl in the yellow and blue striped turtle neck with her hair up :'D

The show will be running from tonight through November thirteenth.

I'm also going to be in the next show, opening on November twenty-second, called Small Stuff 3. It's a professional show, and it's cash and carry, so if you see something you like and you have the money on you, you can take it home then and there. Scroll down on the gallery page to see the flyer for it. The lovely Liz Lorini, known best for her Miss Kika work, will be there, as well as Natali Martinez, Danny Brito, Helena Garcia, and my all time favorite local artist, Danielle Estefan, whose deviantart account I just discovered. Now Pardon me while I go on a faving rampage through her gallery.
